BBC iPlayer hits the Wii 

The iPlayer from the BBC is now available on the Nintendo Wii Internet Channel! For more information on its use, check out the full BBC story in our newsflash section 

Mario Kart Wii is Here!

As of today (Friday 11th April) Mario Kart will be on the shelves. This time allowing you to ride motorbikes as well as the trusty karts from yestertyear. Also included in the the box is the "Wii Wheel".

The Wii Wheel is a nifty little device, in which you place your Wiimote into the centre to make full use of the Wiis motion sensing ability.

Wii Fit

Wii fit is almost released as well, only another few weeks until this sliming software hits our shelves.

Virtual Commodore  

The C64 has now found its way onto the virtual console. Classic games such as International Karate and Uridium.

Games will sale for around 500 Wii points.

Wii Ware

WiiWare is a game-creation service that will allow developers large and small to create new downloadable video game content for sale by Nintendo through the Wii Shop Channel of the Nintendo Wii.

WiiWare paves the way for smaller, more creative games to make their way to the public at lower prices, without any inventory risk to developers in much the same way as Microsoft's longstanding XBLA service.

Wii Cover Section

We are aiming to get a cover section setup for Nintendo Wii games in the near future. Please send us copies of your wii game covers if you can to help us out. Every submission will be in with a chance to grab themselves 2000 Wii points to spend in the Wii Shop.
